Importing your guest list from a CSV

July 13, 2026

If your guest list lives in a spreadsheet, import it instead of retyping it.

Preparing the file

Export your spreadsheet as a CSV with these columns:

| Column | Required | Notes |

|--------|----------|-------|

| Name | Yes | The guest's full name |

| Table | No | Table number or name — powers table lookup |

| Email | No | Used for the post-event thank-you email (Premium) |

The first row should be headers. Common variations ("Full Name", "Table #") are matched automatically.

Importing

  • Open your event → Guests
  • Click Import CSV
  • Pick your file and confirm the column mapping
  • Review the preview and import
  • Duplicates (same name and table) are skipped, so re-importing an updated file is safe.

    After the import

  • Guests can immediately check in by name
  • Table lookups work wherever you assigned tables
  • Any guest emails you included are saved with consent tracking for the thank-you email, and every email gets an unsubscribe link
  • Tips

  • Keep table naming consistent (all numbers or all names)
  • A guest without a table still works fine — they just won't see a table at check-in
  • You can edit any guest by hand after importing
