Payments, coupon codes, and receipts

July 13, 2026

GuestQR keeps billing simple: one-time payments for events, a monthly subscription only if you choose an agency plan.

What kind of payment is what?

  • Premium event upgrade ($39) — one-time, for that event only. Not a subscription; nothing renews.
  • Storage add-ons (+25/50/100 GB) — one-time, per event.
  • Printed keepsake album — one-time, per order.
  • Agency plans ($149 or $249/month) — the only recurring charge in GuestQR, and it's clearly labeled as a monthly subscription wherever it appears.
  • All payments are processed securely by Stripe, inside the app — you're never redirected to a third-party page.

    Using a coupon code

Have a promo code? There's a coupon code field at checkout — both on event upgrades and agency subscriptions. Enter the code and the discount is applied to your total before you pay. For subscriptions, discounts apply for the duration the coupon specifies (for example, a launch code might discount your first three months).

    Invoices and receipts

Settings → Billing → Invoices lists every payment — upgrades, storage packs, and album orders — with amounts, dates, and links to Stripe receipts for your records or expense reports.

    Refunds

Premium upgrades are one-time charges, and we handle refund requests case by case — contact support with your event name and what happened. Agency cancellations take effect at period end, so there's usually nothing to refund.
