How photo and video sharing works

July 13, 2026

Photo sharing is the heart of a Premium event: every guest becomes a photographer, and everything lands in one gallery.

For guests

  • Scan the QR code (or open the guest link)
  • Tap Photos and choose pictures or videos from the camera roll
  • Uploads start immediately — full resolution, no app, no account
  • Guests can also browse the shared gallery, like photos, and comment (you can switch browsing and comments off in Customize Guest Experience).

    For organizers

The Uploads tab in your event shows everything as it arrives. You can view, download, or remove any item. Your event Overview shows the gallery growing live.

    Formats and limits

  • Photos: the formats phones produce — JPEG, PNG, HEIC/HEIF, WebP
  • Videos: common phone formats such as MP4 and MOV
  • Very large originals are accepted up to 50 MB per file; camera-RAW files aren't supported
  • Storage

Premium events include 10 GB — roughly 3,000–6,000 typical phone photos. If your crowd is prolific, add a one-time storage pack (+25/50/100 GB) at any point, even mid-event.

    The upload window

Uploads stay open for 10 days after the event date, because half the best photos are still on people's phones when the night ends. After the window closes, the gallery remains viewable for the rest of your retention period (a full year on Premium).
